I am a modern day feminist. I support braless days and protest to protect abortion laws that are in place. Much of today's feminism is done through social media, and a digital fist in the air. But what has changed from when the feminist movement first started and now, the digital movement?
I mean, for one, the internet is far and wide and easily accessed. A lot of modern feminism is internet-based, making the movement less exclusive, and more easily accessible. That is part of what Far Out Feminist is, our goal being that we want to make feminism widespread and accessible.
Modern feminism is a great movement, because you can be a feminist without even really leaving your couch. Part of what makes Third Wave Feminism great is that we have made feminism work for our digital-centralized society.
