HEY GUYS! So big deal (for me at least) is that Thinx was able to sponsor me, with a free pair of their period catching underwear. They were mostly something I thought of as a fad…until I got a pair. I wore them for a day and here's my honest review.
For one, let it be said that because of birth control, I don’t really get a heavy cycle anymore. However, I can still appreciate a good pair of cool underwear that has a feminist message behind it. During the process of wearing/reviewing the Thinx, I realized that anyone with a period is shamed and shied away from talking about it at all. Wearing and experiencing this product made me realize my period shouldn't be a shameful thing at all.
Another totally different thing that Thinx promotes is the fact that there are many people (men and women and in between) who have periods. And I thank them for promoting that message.
Now back to the review. My honest opinion at first was that I thought they were an odd material. After wearing them, however, I realized that the feel of the underwear is not affected by this. The only negative thing I can say about this product is the washing process is a bit hard, because they need to be washed in cold and hung to dry. Other than that, great product, and thank you Thinx for sponsoring this post!
